Material Handlers (Ottawa)

Location: 3228 Moodie Drive, Ottawa, ON

• Your regular schedule is Monday to Thursday from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm and every other Friday from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm. The wage for this position is $20.00/hour.

Your day-to-day responsibilities:

• – Picking orders of lumber and materials that will be used to build walls and floors
• – Ensuring orders are complete and accurate, and identifying any issues or discrepancies
• – Making material packages delivery-ready: safely bundling, strapping and labeling them for the next stage of handling

What you need to succeed:

• – Forklift experience is preferred, but not required
• – Experience working with your hands
• – Framing experience is considered a strong asset
• – Quality and detail oriented
• – Capable of heavy lifting daily, and able to stand for long periods
• – Ability to work well as part of a team
• – Ability to communicate well in English

Please note that CSA-approved safety footwear is required – KOTT will provide other PPE
