Site Support Specialist

Our customers rely on our factory-built components for the quality – and speed of construction – of their new home builds. In this role, you have a huge impact on KOTT’s promise to deliver ‘on time, in full’. Your key responsibility is to focus on customer needs at all stages from ‘job sold’ to ‘delivery ready’. As KOTT’s eyes and ears on customer job sites, you will ensure that customer needs and timelines are always updated in our ERP system, and communicated to the KOTT teams responsible for design, production and delivery.

Your technical skills and customer service focus will be at the key to your success, with daily opportunities to demonstrate your ability to manage relationships and effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

Your day-to-day
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and subcontractors through regular communication
• Understand customer & subcontractor needs and requirements
• Set and manage realistic expectations based on customer, subcontractor, and internal stakeholder needs
• Perform site visits to monitor construction status, oversee framing job schedules, manage lumber take-offs and updated truss delivery dates
• Ensure framing subcontractors are informed of project timelines and on-site requirements.
• Collect essential site information to support KOTT delivery and CCR team
• Keep the Bistrack Forecasting tool accurate and up-to-date, preparing and sharing forecasts with stakeholders
• Conduct safety talks and inspections with framing subcontractors to ensure awareness of and adherence to safety protocols and best practices
• Maintain a professional, customer-oriented approach to communication, addressing customer needs effectively

What you need to succeed:

Experience & Education
• Strong understanding of residential construction practices
• Detail-oriented with strong customer service capabilities
• Intermediate computer skills, with experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office suite
